Common Questions

Everything, in one place.

What does Domus House Care's property care service include?

Property Care is always included: key holding, utility monitoring, supplier coordination, twice-monthly inspections with photo report, and emergency on-call availability. Arrival preparation and concierge services are added on request. See the full breakdown.

How do I know my home is safe while I'm away?

Every property receives regular inspections with a photo report sent straight to your phone via WhatsApp, so you always know the real condition of your home without having to ask. If anything needs attention between visits, I contact you directly.

Do you manage properties that are rented out, such as on Airbnb or Booking.com?

No, I don't manage short-term rentals or platforms like Airbnb: this is for owners who live in their property themselves. If you're looking for rental management instead, I'm happy to point you in the right direction.

How does Domus House Care price its services?

Base Care is a flat €350 a month and covers key holding, utility monitoring, supplier coordination, twice-monthly inspections, and emergency on-call availability. Anything on request is billed at €35 an hour, or €50 an hour out of hours for genuine emergencies. See what's included.

Is there a minimum contract or notice period?

I recommend an annual agreement — it lets me plan ahead and keep a consistent standard of care. You can cancel at any time with formal written notice.

How far in advance should I book a private chef or a winery visit?

A winery visit can usually be arranged with just a day's notice. A private chef needs at least a week, so I can plan the menu and coordinate everything properly.

Which areas does Domus House Care cover?

Domus House Care currently covers the Langhe and Roero, including Alba, Barolo, La Morra, Barbaresco, Neive and surrounding villages in the Piedmont region of Italy.

Do you plan to expand beyond Langhe and Roero?

I don't yet cover areas outside Langhe and Roero, but plan to extend to the Monferrato as Domus House Care grows.

Do you speak English?

Yes. Domus House Care was built for international owners, and all communication, from the first enquiry to every inspection report, is available in English.

What happens if there's an emergency at my property?

Message me on WhatsApp, my priority channel. I guarantee a response within 12 hours. For genuine emergencies, I step in as quickly as possible; less urgent matters are resolved within 24 hours, keeping you informed throughout.
