The Langhe
Alba
The largest town in the Langhe, known for its white truffle fair and porticoed old centre, with the fastest rail and road links to Turin and Milan.
Barolo
A small hilltop village that gives its name to the wine, ringed by some of the most celebrated vineyards in Piedmont.
La Morra
One of the highest points in the Langhe, with sweeping views across the Barolo vineyards toward the Alps on a clear day.
Barbaresco
A quiet village built around its medieval bell tower, at the heart of one of Piedmont's most prized wine denominations.
Neive
One of Italy's official Borghi più belli, its stone centre rising above a wide stretch of vineyard.
Monforte d'Alba
A stone hill town among the Barolo vineyards, its centre climbing steeply around a natural amphitheatre.
The Roero
Canale
The Roero's main town, known for its peach orchards and a historic centre built around Piazza Italia.
Govone
Home to Castello di Govone, a UNESCO-listed Savoy residence set among rolling hills and orchards.
Guarene
A hilltop village with wide views across the Roero and the Tanaro valley, built around its own Savoy-era castle.
